Zaferia Business Association Board of Directors

The ZBA Board of Directors is made up of seven members, each serving a two-year term.  The Board meets most months of the year on the second Thursday of the month. 

The next meeting of the Board will be held:

Madison Mooney
Madison is the Executive Director of the Long Beach Playhouse. She moved to Long Beach to attend CSULB and study theatre. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts, she worked on numerous productions and projects with the Long Beach Playhouse before being hired full time as Business & Operations Manager in 2012. Madison recently graduated from the Leadership Long Beach Institute where she increased her motivation to make Long Beach a better place!

Scott Bristol
Scott Bristol is the Controller for Brascia Builders, a General Contracting Firm headquartered in Long Beach specializing in Healthcare, Hospitality & Institutional Construction. Scott graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. A Long Beach resident, he enjoys the small town feel of this large and diverse city.

Alan Gomez

Alan Gomez is the owner/operator of Commodity. Commodity opened in 2017 as a result of Alan & his wife moving back to California from Oregon and him not wanting to rework resumes, instead he decided to start his own business. Coming from nearly a decade in the beer industry as well as the coffee industry, Commodity specializes in everything coffee & beer.

Dean Lockwood

Dean Lockwood is a Southern California native, growing up in Palm Springs. He attended San Diego State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts & Sciences with an emphasis in Youth and Family Agency Administration. His background also includes over 10 years of nonprofit leadership as executive director of a Senior Center in Palm Springs California. He has also worked with a number of non-profit agencies, including Boys and Girls Clubs, Financial Counseling agencies, and Domestic Violence Shelters.

Dean is the Director of Development & Community Outreach for Su Casa – Ending Domestic Violence in Long Beach. Su Casa provides shelter and supportive services that touch over 3,600 survivors of domestic violence each year.

The Red Leprechaun Restaurant was founded in July 2012 by Tracy Ames. We are an "Irish-American restaurant" located in the heart of the East Anaheim Business District and have been recognized as one of the top ten Irish-American restaurants in Long Beach and in the Press Telegram.
